About Franklin BBQ Pits

Aaron made his first backyard sized pit while writing Franklin Barbecue: A Meat-Smoking Manifesto. The prototype he made to give to his readers was a small replica of the huge cookers we use at Franklin Barbecue. After about 5 years of tweaks, the first batch of Franklin Pits were made available for sale in summer of 2020.
